Our Pubs

We believe that the building itself goes a long way towards making a great pub and we have painfully and lovingly restored both The Brewery Tap and The Greyhound after they had both been shut down for several years. And just recently we renovated The Queen's Head which has always been a beautiful looking pub from the outside, but sadly not on the inside. We’re not one to be scared of a challenge, we always knew they could be great pubs again and we hope you agree.

Each of our pubs has its own identity – we like to work with the features and the character of the building, making them entirely unique and bringing a perfect combination of old and new.

Of course being a brewer we like to offer a great selection of our own ales in our pubs but that’s not all we’re about, you will always find a handful of guest ales too from some of the great microbreweries we have around the country.

If ale isn’t you thing then don’t be put off, we aim to bring a fantastic selection of lagers too, there will always be at least 7 on draught and more than you can shake a stick at in bottle from all over the world.

Beyond that there is always a great wines and spirits selection for those who aren’t in the mood for a pint, and not to mention our tasting racks for those who can’t decide and really just want to try everything!

We like our food too, so much so that that you won’t find a microwave meal in sight. Everything we serve up is homemade fresh on site and as far as possible sourced locally. You can imagine we have trouble getting local fish with Derby being about as far away from the sea as you can get! Trust us our fish is still great though.
